Speaker Jonathan Greenblatt says "Do More"

Jonathan Greenblatt
Social entrepreneur Jonathan Greenblatt isn't your typical motivational speaker. He is definitely inspiring people all over the world with his dynamic presentations, but he also urges them to "do more." Jonathan asks his audiences to do more to help create a sustainable world, to do more to create socially responsible corporations, and to do more to get involved with these issues both globally and in the community - important messages in today's world.

And Jonathan doesn't just deliver these messages from behind the podium, he actually moves people to take action with his passion and by his own example. He recently spoke for a large corporate client of mine on the topic of sustainability, to rave reviews. Some of the adjectives used to describe his presentation by the senior leaders who attended the meeting were "extremely interesting," "engaging," and "incredibly inspiring." Here are just a couple of comments...

After your presentation, a few of my colleagues and I agreed that it was one of the most impressive speeches we've seen in person. I must say that meeting you in person and seeing the positive impact you've made on the world more than exceeded my expectations. Thanks again.

I've got to hand it to you - you were one of the most engaging and meaningful keynotes I've seen in my nearly four years attending these events. The one-photo, one-word slides were powerful and refreshing in a world of management consulting PowerPoint overkill. Keep it up.

As well as sustainability and social entrepreneurship, Jonathan also speaks on several business, marketing and management topics. And why wouldn't he? His background in these areas is as diverse as it is impressive. Not only is he a serial social entrepeneur and faculty member at the Anderson School of Management at UCLA, but he's also been a successful corporate executive. Ever heard of Ethos Water? Umm...he founded that company (Ethos Brands). Ethos became one of the few companies Starbucks deemed worthy of acquisition in its thirty-plus year history, so they bought it. Jonathan then served as Starbucks' VP of consumer products where he developed the global investment strategy that today helps bring clean water to children and communities in need all over the world.

If you are involved with sustainability or branding initiatives in your organization, I highly recommend learning more about Jonathan. His new book, Meaning It: Why Collaboration is the Future of Responsible Business, comes out this fall. Oh, and did I mention how professional and great Jonathan is to work with? Yeah...he's that too.
